Why is my credit card charged so much money before I have returned the vehicle? |
| |

When a client rents from Avis an amount equal to the excess fee and the cost of rental is put on hold by an authorizing bank until such a time when the Avis vehicle is returned in good condition then the exact amount of the bill is charged to the credit card and the remaining balance is released back to the credit card by the authorizing bank within 7 working days. |
